Buy Local

I participated in a panel discussion on the global market outlook, though it was largely focused on the US.

At every opportunity, I steered the conversation toward the Singapore market and local stocks. Many in the audience were clearly unaware of the excitement on the SGX, with small caps up 44% since last August.

My parting shot? “Buy local!”

On my way out, I ran into a few attendees in the lift. They told me they hadn’t realised there were so many opportunities in the Singapore market—and that they would be taking a fresh look.
