Privatisation offer for Memtech (Business Times)
May 16, 2019
Memtech International, a counter Azure Capital owns and the biggest mover in the market yesterday, was a subject of a voluntary conditional offer of S$1.35 for each share to delist the company. Given the premium over Memtech International’s average recent price, this represents a good exit for most shareholders, especially since the counter is not the most liquid.
Boardroom will be on the top gainers table today following GK Goh’s S$0.88 offer in a bid to delist it. That’s 2 privatisation exercises in consecutive days. As it stands, we have as many privatisations this month as IPOs.
