MTQ CEO Kuah Boon Wee, a man of diverse interest

Met up with Kuah Boon Wee, CEO of MTQ, for breakfast. Prior to running the offshore & marine engineering company, Boon Wee held senior management roles in some of the largest companies in the region, including CEO of PSA International, and CFO of ST Engineering and Hong Kong Land. He is also currently the Independent Director of The Hour Glass and UOB-KayHian, the largest brokerage in Singapore. Our breakfast platter was pretty heavy, as we exchanged views on the financial, F&B, hospitality, property and marine sectors. Good to see that MTQ is back on its feet with a strong turnaround in its earnings!
