At yesterday’s Securities Investors​ Association (Singapore) Market Outlook, I delivered the opening address and joined the panel discussion. The big question from the floor: should investors sell amid the Middle East crisis?

I shared this story. When Russia attacked Ukraine, I called Food Empire founder Tan Wang Cheow. Both countries were the coffee manufacturer’s top markets — the stock had already fallen 40% to S$0.45 within a month of the invasion. It now trades above S$3. A 500%+ return in four years.
