From Kopitiams to Capital Markets

Terence Wong is the Founder and CEO of Azure Capital, a fund management firm known for its innovative investment strategies. Starting out with equities, the firm has launched pioneering funds such as the Azure-Lyte Fund and the Azure-Gushcloud Entertainment Finance Fund, designed to offer both safety and above-market returns.

Terence began his career as an investment analyst in 1999 and, by 2003, became Singapore’s youngest Head of Research at SIAS Research. He was later named Best Country Analyst by Asiamoney and led RHB Investment Bank’s research team to a #1 ranking by Starmine.

Recognised for his expertise in small- and mid-cap stocks — where he was consistently ranked #1 in Singapore — Terence often finds his best investment insights through casual chats with company CEOs over coffee at kopitiams.

A familiar face in the media, Terence has appeared in TV, print and radio interviews, sharing insights on stocks, markets and occasionally, his personal journey. He also served as a judge on Singapore’s first televised stock market competition on CNA, and maintains a regular radio segment on MoneyFM.

Beyond fund management, Terence chairs the investment committees of SGX-listed Trek 2000 and Second Chance Properties. He also serves as a director at Lyte Principal, and is a member of the Management Committee of the Securities Investors Association (Singapore).
