David has been in fund management for the past eight years.

He initial foray in the industry included two stints interning with renowned South East Asia speciaist Pheim Asset Management and global fund house Aberdeen Asset Management during his university days.

After graduation, he started with Bank of America Merrill Lynch before joining a boutique fund manager conducting fundamental research for listed companies in ASEAN, Hong Kong and China.

David joined Azure Capital in August 2015 as an analyst/fund manager before rising up the ranks to his current role as a director. Other than fund management, he is also involved in business development for funds managed by the firm.

David holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Singapore Management University and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter-holder. He is an avid reader and plays tennis/hitting the gym to keep fit.
